Managing Your Petsoft Subscription
As the facility owner or administrator, you can manage your Petsoft software subscription, update your payment methods, and adjust your plan tier directly from the settings menu.
Updating Your Payment Method
If your credit card is expiring or you need to switch the card used for your monthly Petsoft invoice, you can update it at any time.
- Go to Organization > Billing.
- Review your current subscription details and the next billing date.
- Click Update Payment Method.
- Enter your new credit card details.
- Click Save. Future invoices will be charged to this new card.
Upgrading Your Plan
If your business grows and you need to manage more facilities or runs, you can upgrade your subscription tier.
- Navigate to Organization > Billing.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the new tier that fits your capacity needs.
- Review the prorated charges (if applicable).
- Confirm the change. Your new limits will take effect immediately.
Account Reactivation
If a monthly payment fails, Petsoft will attempt to charge the card again over several days. If all attempts fail, your account will be temporarily locked to protect your data.
To reactivate a locked account:
- Log in to Petsoft with your administrator credentials. You will be redirected to the Reactivation screen.
- Enter a valid credit card to clear the past-due balance.
- Once the payment clears, your account is instantly unlocked and you can resume normal operations.
Only users with the Petsoft Account Owner permission can access the Billing and Reactivation screens.
