Payment Gateway Setup
Petsoft integrates seamlessly with Cosairus Payment Services (CPS) via Elavon, allowing you to process credit cards directly within the software and store cards securely on file.
Connecting Your Merchant Account
Before you can accept payments, you must enter your merchant credentials.
- Go to Organization > Payment Gateway.
- Select your processor (typically Elavon Cloud or Elavon Converge).
- Enter your Merchant ID, User ID, and PIN/Password provided by your CPS representative.
- Click Verify Connection to ensure the credentials are correct.
- Once verified, click Save Configuration.
Terminal Configuration
If you are using physical card terminals (e.g., Lane 3000/5000 series), they must be paired with your Petsoft account.
- Ensure the terminal is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer.
- In the Payment Gateway settings, scroll to Hardware Terminals.
- Click Add Terminal and enter the IP address displayed on the device screen.
- Send a test transaction of $0.01 to verify communication.
Card on File
With CPS integration, Petsoft can securely tokenize customer credit cards. This allows pet parents to save their card during portal checkout, and enables staff to charge deposits or final balances without swiping a physical card. No sensitive card data is stored on Petsoft servers.
