Setting Your Prices

Petsoft is designed to fit the way you do business. You aren't stuck with any pre-set pricing rules—you can create your own rates, names, and weight categories from scratch.

To manage your pricing, go to Business Settings > Services.

Services Configuration Your dashboard will show the custom price levels you've created.

How do I set prices based on weight?

Most businesses charge different amounts based on the size of the pet. In Petsoft, you define these categories using Rate Levels.

important

You define the tiers: You are not limited to the examples shown below. You can create as many weight ranges as you need (e.g., 0-15 lbs, 16-50 lbs, 51-100 lbs, etc.) and name them whatever you like.

How your custom tiers work:

To create a new price level, go to Facilities > Services > Rate Levels.

What to enterHow to customize it
NameChoose any name, like "Teacup Dogs" or "Giant Breeds."
Service TypeAssign this rate to any service you offer (Boarding, Daycare, etc.).
Weight RangeSet your own min/max weights. If you don't charge by weight, just set it from 0 to 999.
RateSet the exact dollar amount for this specific group.

How do I add my runs?

You can name and organize your physical or virtual space however you want under Business Settings > Services > Runs.

  1. Name them your way: Use the Bulk Insert button to add runs like "Luxury Suite 1-5" or simple spots like "Home Visit Slot A."
  2. Assign Sizes: For each run, you decide which of your custom Rate Levels can fit there.
tip

Don't have physical kennels? No problem! If you are a mobile groomer or a sitter, you can use "Runs" to represent your available time slots or the maximum number of pets you can host at once. For example, a mobile groomer might have one run named "Grooming Van 1."

How do I add "extras" like baths or play time?

Things like "Nail Trims" or "Individual Play" are added under Business Settings > Services > Service Rates.

  • Custom Services: You can create any service you can imagine.
  • Flexible Pricing: Set different prices for different Rate Levels—for example, a "Large Dog Bath" can cost more than a "Small Dog Bath."
