The Kennel Run Overview

You use the Kennel Run Overview to manage your daily operations. It shows you which pets are in which runs. It also shows when new pets arrive. You can use this board for a business with 100 runs or for a single grooming van. The board shows your daily schedule.

Go to Overview > Home to see the board.

How to read the board​

  • Left Side (Rows): These are your runs.
  • Top (Columns): These are the dates.
  • Colored Blocks: These are the reservations. The length of the block shows the number of days for the reservation.

What do the colors mean?​

Colors show the status of each reservation:

  • Green: Available — the run is empty.
  • Default (no color): Occupied — a reservation fills the run.
  • Blue: In-Process — a reservation for that run is being created or claimed.
  • Yellow: Overlapped — two reservations use the same run on the same day.

How do I fix an overlap?​

If you see a yellow (Overlapped) block, open one of the two reservations. Change the dates or the run.

You cannot drag and drop a block to move it. To move a reservation, open it and edit the dates or run.

Checking pets in and out​

When you click a reservation block, the Reservation Edit page opens. The board does not have separate screens for check-in, check-out, or payment.

An icon on the block shows the check-in and check-out status. To check a pet in or out, use the Reservation Edit page. The board does not have a separate check-in or check-out button.
