Petsoft makes it easy to handle bookings from the moment a parent calls to the moment the pet goes home.
The life of a booking
Every stay goes through these simple steps:
- Unconfirmed: The stay is requested but no deposit has been paid yet.
- Confirmed: The deposit is paid and the spot is saved.
- Checked In: The pet has arrived on site.
- Checked Out: The bill is paid and the pet has gone home.
How do I book a stay?
You can start a new booking from the dashboard by clicking New Reservation.
- Pick the Customer: Type their name to find them.
- Pick the Pets: Check the box for each pet that is staying.
- Choose the Service: Pick Boarding, Daycare, or Grooming.
- Set the Dates: Pick the arrival and departure days and times.
- Pick a Room: Choose where the pet will stay. Petsoft will tell you if the room is already full.
- Check the Price: Petsoft will pick the price automatically based on the pet's weight.
- Save: Click Save to finish!
What if two pets are in the same room?
Petsoft has built-in Conflict Detection. If you try to book a pet into a room that is already taken, you'll see a warning.
If a room is full, Petsoft will even suggest the next available room for you!
Seeing everything at once
Once you save a booking, it will show up on your Occupancy Board. This is where you can see all your arrivals and departures for the day in one place.
