Go-Live Checklist
Welcome to the family! This checklist is your roadmap to getting your business set up and ready for your first customer. Follow these steps in order to make sure everything works perfectly.
Step 1: Setting the Basics
1. Your Business Info
- Enter your legal name, address, and phone number so customers know who you are.
- Go to: Organization > Settings
2. Your Brand & Look
- Upload your logo for invoices and pick your brand colors for the portal.

3. Your Team
- Invite your staff and decide what they can see and do (like Clerk or Groomer roles).

- Go to: Organization > Security > Users
Step 2: Setting Your Prices
4. Your Rates
- Decide how much you charge for boarding and daycare.
- Read about rates
- Go to: Business Settings > Services > Rate Levels
5. Your Runs
- Tell the system about your physical or virtual runs.
- Go to: Business Settings > Services > Runs
6. Add-on Services
- Add extras like "Exit Bath," "Nail Trim," or "Nature Walk."
- Go to: Business Settings > Services > Service Rates
Step 3: Setting the Rules
7. Shot Records (Vaccines)
- Choose which shots are required and when parents should get reminders.
- Go to: Organization > Settings > Vaccines
8. Deposits & Cancellations
- Set up rules to protect your revenue when people cancel at the last minute.

- Go to: Organization > Settings > Deposits
9. Auto-Reminders
- Turn on automatic emails for booking confirmations and reminders.
- Go to: Organization > Settings > Email Templates
Step 4: Inviting Your Customers
10. The Parent Portal
- Turn on online booking so parents can request stays from their phone.
- Go to: Organization > Branding > Parent Portal
