Reviewing and signing agreements

Every facility has a Terms of Service. This agreement covers the care of your pet, your responsibilities, and the facility's responsibilities. You accept it in the portal.

When you are asked

You must accept the agreement at your first login, before you do anything else. After you register and verify your email, the portal shows the Terms of Service page first. The page title is Terms of Service for [your facility].

This page blocks further action. The sidebar stays visible, but its links do not work until you accept the agreement. This design is intentional. You must accept the agreement before you can make a reservation.

The Terms of Service page at first login At first login, the portal shows the Terms of Service page. Tick the box to accept, then click Submit.

Accepting

  1. Read the agreement. The page shows this text in bold: "Please read through the entire agreement before agreeing."
  2. Tick the checkbox: "I accept the terms and conditions of the Digital Boarding and Daycare Agreement".
  3. Click Submit.

The Submit button stays disabled until you tick the box.

note

The page does not force you to scroll. The checkbox is the only requirement. You can tick it without reading the agreement. Do not tick the box without reading the agreement. This is a real agreement about the care of your pet. Reading it takes only two minutes.

Some facilities sign per pet

If your facility keeps agreements for each pet, not for the whole household, the checkbox names them:

"I accept the terms and conditions of the Digital Boarding and Daycare Agreement for the following pets: Bo, Luna"

When you accept, this covers only those pets. If you add a pet later, the portal may ask you to accept again for the new pet.

tip

You accept by ticking a checkbox. This is not a drawn or typed signature. Petsoft records that you accepted the agreement and which version you accepted.

When the agreement changes

Facilities can publish a new version of their Terms of Service, for example after a policy change. When a facility publishes a new version, it asks everyone to accept the new version before their next reservation. You will see the agreement page again at your next login, just as you did the first time.

If the portal asks you to accept an agreement you already signed, this is the reason. This is not an error. Your facility updated its terms.

Seeing the terms again later

You do not have to search for them when you make a reservation. On the Review step of any reservation, the Terms of Service and Cancellation Policy buttons open the current text in a pop-up window. You can check them before you click Complete Reservation.

To learn what the cancellation policy means for your deposit, see Make a reservation.
