Switching facilities and organizations

If you work across more than one facility or organization, Petsoft lets you switch between them without losing your place.

Switching facilities keeps you on the same page

When you switch to a different facility in the same organization, Petsoft keeps you on the page you were already viewing — it does not send you back to the home screen.

For example, if you are looking at a report for one facility and switch to another, you stay on that same report, now showing the new facility's information. You no longer have to navigate back to it.

How to switch

1. In the top navigation bar, select your organization name to open the switch screen.
2. Choose a facility to change which location you are working in, or choose a different organization if your account has more than one.

If you have access to several facilities, you can also use the facility menu in the navigation bar to switch directly without opening the switch screen.

What stays and what resets

• Switching facility within the same organization: you stay on the same page.
• Switching to a different organization: you return to the home screen. The page you were viewing belongs to the previous organization, so it does not carry over.
• Switching between Employee and Pet Parent views: you return to the starting page for that view. These are two different experiences, so the page you were on does not carry over.
